Cowingene Ureaplasma Urealyticum Detection Kit (Lyophilized)

The Cowingene Ureaplasma Urealyticum Detection Kit (UU Detection Kit) is intended for the in vitro qualitative detection of ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) in urine, male urethral swab, female cervical swab, and female vaginal swab samples, and provides aid to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with genitourinary tract infections. Sexually transmitted infection (STI) remains one of the important threats to global public health security. The disease can lead to infertility, premature birth, tumors and various serious complications. There are many types of STI pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma and spirochetes, etc.
Ureaplasma urealyticum is a causative agent of non-gonococcal urethritis and with a prevalence ranging between 10 and 40 %, is implicated in the pathogenesis of prostatitis, epididymitis, and infertility.

The UU Detection Kit adopts the method of PCR amplification combined with fluorescent probes, to select the conserved regions specific to ureaplasma urealyticum as the detection target genes, and an endogenous internal control is introduced as a quality control of the kit.

Storage And Handling Requirements

A. Reagents can be stored at 2-30℃ for 18 months.
B. Reagents can be transported at 2-30℃ for no more than 15 days.
C. Do not use reagents past expiration date indicated on outside of package.
D. Protect from light.
E. Once opened, Buffer Lypbeads is valid for 7 days at 2-8℃.
F. Once added PCR Solution, positive control, negative control and Primer Lyobeads are valid for 7 days at 2-8℃, 1 month below -20℃. Repeated freezing and thawing should be limited to 10 cycles.
